WELL, his mamma says: "When he puts on those headphones, he is zoning out... All you see is his head banging!" Or to put in the words of his "old" man (after finding him again at 6am after another "beat" night): "Boy, you eat, drink and sleep it!"

I guess, this is the dedication to the beats you need to be a multi-platinum producer as he is.

Growing up in the Motown metropolis of Detroit, he cultivated his skills as a mobile mix-DJ. From there, he held down a college radio mix show and rocked numerous college parties at Michigan State University. Not long after, DJ Head became the Open Mic DJ at Maurice Malones´s HIP HOP SHOP during the day, and a club jock by night, which guided him to go continually deeper and deeper into the world of music...

If you would see his house with his studio/playground, aka "The Hole"... and a record collection of over 20,000 records, you would know that this is the world that he lives in and for!

Back in the mid 90´s at the same "little" HIP HOP SHOP, he met today´s "great" Eminem. Brought to his attention by the Dirty Dozen-D12, he became one of Em´s people´s behind the boards. DJ Head has travelled countless times all over the world, doing a number of TV shows: Saturday Night Live, MTV Music Awards, Top of the Pops... Just to name a few... and has played concert halls of up to 15,000 people worldwide!

Let me tell you what, he will continue to reach the whole wide world on his unstoppable journey of success to...
